"It was a recession hit period somewhere in mid 2009, when I had left a stable job and was going through a financially insecure phase of my life. Financial insecurity leads to a disequilibrium in other parts of my life, too. That's when I started reading about Reiki and its soothing healing effects. Not that I hadn't heard about it earlier, but that was a phase where I wanted to take a pause, look within, and around, before taking the next step.
